Qualitynet achieves ISO 27001 certification for its Data Center

Qualitynet, Kuwait’s No. 1 Internet services, Data Communications and ICT Services provider today announced that it has successfully achieved the ISO 27001:2013 certification on their Data Center and re-certification on the existing systems through the International Certification body – United Registrar of Systems (URS), UK. Mr. Essa Al-Kooheji, GM – Consumer & Business Sales at Qualitynet stated that this certification adds to our continuous efforts to maintain quality throughout everything we do at Qualitynet. “With this milestone, Qualitynet has become the pioneer in adopting the internationally accepted ‘ISMS’ Security Standard for Internet, Data Communication & Data Center Security. It shows our commitment to our Clients’ Information and our readiness to face the ever-growing threats to Information in this digital age” said Al-Kooheji. He added that Qualitynet has adopted an approach for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring, reviewing, maintaining and improving its Information Security Management System (ISMS) through the ISO 27001 certification. “Client satisfaction and confidentiality is our first priority, and this certificate is proof that our client’s data is in safe hands” said Al-Kooheji.
The Lead Auditor stated that ISO 27001 is the auditable international standard which defines the requirements for an Information Security Management System. He also added that quality of information security – related aspects of Qualitynet have been independently verified and confirmed by the audit team, and that the organization will be audited at regular intervals by Internal & External audit teams to check for the effectiveness of their quality information systems and company’s overall information risk management practice.
